Images should should be marked as 'mature' if they contain exposed female nipples or areola, bare buttocks, genitals regardless of gender , pubic area, implied sexual activity, bondage, transparent clothing that reveals previously mentioned anatomy and profanity.
I fully support preprint servers and post-publication peer review, only I'd argue they should just be combined into one which is what we do.
